Dafne Suarez-Torres holds a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Throughout her studies, she developed a strong foundation in family systems, community advocacy, and culturally responsive practice, with a focus on supporting vulnerable and underserved populations.
Dafne began her professional journey as an intern with OurBRIDGE for Kids in Charlotte, where she worked closely with immigrant and refugee families. During her time there, she supported children and caregivers through family engagement, resource coordination, and advocacy, strengthening her ability to build trust across diverse communities.
Dafne is trained in the ChildFirst® Forensic Interview Protocol. As the Harnett County Children’s Advocacy Center Family Advocate, she partners with families to assess needs and connect them to community resources related to education, healthcare, and overall well-being. She remains committed to fostering strong relationships and providing compassionate, comprehensive support that empowers families to thrive.
